Our three buildings and the surrounding grounds, including our car park, are an essential part of our Catholic community and, as such, must be maintained in a safe condition for the users and in a sound and weatherproof condition so as to prevent any deterioration. In an effort to achieve this we have a committee of four parishioners and the Parish Priest, all of whom 'watch and report' and meet once or twice each year, depending upon requirements, to discuss and agree projects and repairs or safety matters. Additionally the Chairman carries out periodic detailed inspections of the buildings and reports accordingly. Fire precautions, heating and lighting, as well as toilet and washing facilities all form part of our total responsibilities and our key word is:- "PREVENTION".
