Fr. Paul
received
a
letter
from St Anne’s Day Centre this week
thanking us for the marvellous Harvest that was sent to them following our
Harvest Festival last weekend. Without
the help of us and others they would be hard pressed to look after their
visitors on a day to day basis. With our help and with ‘Fareshare’
they are able to provide plenty of nourishing meals, throughout the year. “May
I thank you most sincerely for your generosity and assure you of our
prayers” (St
Anne’s)

All the produce was
donated by Dymocks Farm Shop or grown by a parishioner. The Harvest Loaf under
the altar and the Platted Loaves were made by "Bert's First
Attempt" at Seaford Bakery. The Platted Loaves were auctioned after
the 10.30am Mass on Sunday and raised £14 for St Anne's Day Centre in
Brighton

Ann accepts a 'thank you' gift from
the Parish
|
For
21 years Ann has been looking after the parish accounts for us week by week,
month by month. Because the
parish is part of the Diocesan Charitable Trust the accounts have to be
meticulously kept in order and Ann has worked hard to keep the books in
order. After all this time she
is now handing over the accounts computer to Chris Parkinson who has very
kindly agreed to look after the accounts for us.
We are very grateful to Ann for all she has done for us and to Chris
for offering his services to us. Fr Paul
