No meditation on Monday 18th and Monday 25th August.

 

St Cuthman's Monthly Reflection Day is to be held on 19th August in the Garden Rooms at St Cuthman's, Cowfold Road, Coolham, Horsham RH13 8QL.  Tel 01403 741220 or email stcuthmans@dabnet.org.  Please see poster in porch.

The Circle of Friends will meet for a garden party on Tuesday 26th August, at 3pm.  If you wish to attend please ring Lois Fuller.

 

Aaron Spinelli's ordination is on 30th August at 12 noon and his first Mass will be on 31st August at 12 noon, both will be held at Our Lady of Ransom, Eastbourne.  Please keep Aaron in your prayers.

 

St Andrew's Church, Bishopstone are holding a Flower Festival and Exhibition from 29-31st August.  Please see notice in porch for more details.

Tuesday 16th September - Fr Laurence Freeman OSB will talk on "What on earth – today - is prayer?" at St Mildred's Church, Addiscombe, Croydon from 7.30pm until 9.30pm.  He will show how Christian Meditation, a form of Contemplative prayer can be relevant for the 21st century.  Fr Laurence is a Benedictine monk and Director of the World Community for Christian Meditation.  No need to book.  For more information call Philip Kitchen on 01372 200558 or email surreymeditation@yahoo.co.uk.

A Day of Liturgical Music with Paul Inwood will be held on Saturday 20th September at St Paul's Catholic College, Burgess Hill from 10am until 4pm.  Cost is £10 per person, (£7 concession).  Please see notice in porch.  Deadline for booking 5th September.

A Mass for Health Care Workers will be held on Saturday 20th September at 2.30pm at Arundel Cathedral, Celebrated by Bishop Kieran, with refreshments afterwards in St Mary's Hall.

 

Fair Trade Products will be on sale after the 8 and 10.30am Masses.


We welcome back to the parish our four young people from Australia, who took part in World Youth Day and we look forward to hearing from them about their experiences.


Pam Hughes, wife of Ralph Taylor, the Leader of the Quakers in Seaford, died Friday last week and her funeral took place on Thursday.  We send our condolences to Ralph; please keep him in your prayers.
